Commanderj4 is a Java based application for recording production using industry standard barcoding symbology. The application consists of a database, a desktop application and a mobile device application. The software supports a number of databases and will run on any workstation running Suns Java runtime 1.6 or above. The application can be used either standalone or interfaced to other manufactuting applications to provide a resilient (buffered) front end. This can be invaluable to prevent downtime when other systems are taken down for routine maintenance during production periods.
